As part of their Bachelors program in Genomic Sciences, UNAM, both Sophia & Emiliano must spend their last two semester fully immersed in academic research, and we are fortunate that they decided to spend this year with us! Sophia will explore the evolutionary context that allow for the adaptive advantage of oscillations. Emiliano will characterize the control properties of diverse proposed motifs, both in natural and synthetic biomolecular contexts. Excited to see the development of their projects and of them as young scientists.
Como parte de su licenciatura en Ciencias Genómicas en la UNAM, Sophia & Emiliano deben pasar sus últimos dos semestres completamente inmersos en investigación académica, y somos muy afortunados que han decidido pasar este año con nosotros. Sophia explorará el contexto evolutivo que permite la ventaja adaptativa de las oscilaciones. Emiliano caracterizará las propiedades de control de diversos motivos propuestos en la literatura, tanto en un contexto natural como de biología sintética. ¡Emocionados de ver el desarrollo de sus proyectos, así como ellos como jóvenes investigadores!
